Rock poppy

This bright yellow flower has appeared in my cottage garden, in a more wild area, and I think it is a celandine or rock poppy. I was surprised to read that it is highly poisonous especially to animals, and contains isoquinoline alkaloids. Not surprising, given that some poppies are grown for opium. This is what makes blip so interesting, you learn things every day!
