Misty

The sea mist rolled in over night and stayed for most of the morning. It has its own charm but certainly not welcome if you are planning a trip out to sea.
From yesterday boat owners can use their boats again although can only visit Guernsey bays. The surrounding islands are all closed to visitors. It wasn’t the best weather for boating today. I think the idea is to be able to run engines and keep everything in good order.
I think that we are still only supposed be out for a few hours.
We have not so far changed anything and we have been contented with a Sunday at home.
There are now only 21 people with the virus in our island community of 62,000 as the people who have been infected have now recovered or sadly passed away. At the moment nobody is traveling into the island, the boats are cancelled for passengers. There is one daily flight for essential travel only. The numbers are very much in decline. Testing continues and we await results of the recent changes to allow small family groups to meet together.
