I managed to thread up my new sewing machine, I haven't used one in about 40 years, when was at school! You tube tutorial was a great help. DD thought the spinning reel was great fun, see extra.

Pottered, cooked a roast, spoke to my brothers, ironed and cried. Not necessarily in that order!
