Remembering

May 4th is Remembrance Day in The Netherlands, remembering all the victims of WWII and all the soldiers who gave their lives for our freedom and after WWII all the soldiers who gave their lives for our and others' freedom. We will never forget them.

Of course because of the Covid-19 situation all the commemorations are going to be very different from how they were planned initially, our king and queen will lay wreaths at the monument on De Dam in Amsterdam without any public just like dignitaries have been laying wreaths at war monuments all over the country without public.

I will remember not only all who fell victim but also both sets of grandparents and my father, all victims of WWII even if they did survive the war itself.
This mono low light rose is for them and for Mono Monday.
With thanks to Carolina for hosting in May.

Thanks very much for the kind comments and stars for yesterday's peony bud and the AT results
