'Big' Birthday

Plans for a weekend in York with both daughters had to go by the board, of course, but under the current conditions the next best thing was a short visit this morning from the girls, sitting outside, socially distanced, with coffee and cake, but no hugs, except from Mabel. 

There was even a banner hung on the washing line :-)

There have also been phone calls from Australia, Canada and closer to home; cards, deliveries of flowers and goodies; and lots of lovely gifts from the daughters, so I have been thoroughly spoilt. 

And now, from one day to the next, I'm in the so-called 'vulnerable' group. Time will tell...

York will still be there once lockdown and C-19 is over, even if it's a long wait.
