ducks

When we first moved to this house a few years ago, we were very excited by the visits we received from this pair of ducks. this joy did not last long because of the amount of poo they leave behind them every time.  I have spent many hours cleaning up after them so the kids can then use the garden.

They popped in to have a bath in the pond - as soon as they saw Barley they moved on pretty sharpish.

A busy day today.
Q had school work - he tried hard today.
Z had work.
both kids did some yoga.
Indie made banana bread and bread rolls (we have yeast!) and cleaned her sandpit out.

Then we had a huge shock as the kids asked us to go out for a walk (this never happens!).  we had a lovely time walking along the river to the moor.
