The colour white

Spent much of the time outside weeding around the young hedge plants on one side of the field opposite we planted a couple of years ago.  They get so choked up with nettles, brambles and bindweed at this time of year and it is nice to see them breathe again and have space to grow. Then I walked up to the top of our lane to put my nose outside off the farm when I met K's aunt and uncle walking along the road - well timed!  We stopped for a natter. They should have been in the States now and then visiting their son in Canada ......
