Finland will begin lifting some of its coronavirus-caused emergency measures on 1 June, Prime Minister Sanna Marin announced on Monday evening:

-Next month restaurants and cafes will be allowed to open and groups of up to 50 people will be able to gather.
-Pre- and elementary schools will reopen on 14 May.
-Individuals over the age of 70 are still being recommended to avoid contact with others.
