Plenty of colour

Looked out first thing at the rain and decided to have a lazy morning. Seem to be having a lot of those!

The weather brightened after lunch and I ventured out - I was very glad I had as it was just the right temperature for a walk. Not too hot and not too cold. Didn’t meet too many people but did spot lots of lovely flowers including whole carpets of bluebells.

Home to find Mr PHL had made a Victoria sponge for us to enjoy tomorrow when we do a family zoom call for my sister in laws 50th.

Cooked the chicken we were meant to have yesterday - very yummy to have a roast on a Monday.
