Zebra Swallowtail ~ Protographium Marcellus

Another first for me! I've seen these zebra swallowtail butterflies a few times during the birding festival in West Virginia (that I should have been enjoying last week), but never here. And then today - there it was while we were walking down our regular dirt road on our regular (more regular than usual these days) walk. We stood there while I kept encouraging it to sit, and finally it did and I managed to get a semblance of a photograph with my phone!

Turned out it was the only photo I took all day. Some vacuuming happened. And some gardening. And a nap... But not a bit of photography other than this bit.
