Joe and Michael

Joe (the child) is mildly autistic, and it shows in weird times like the present.
Michael (the cat) has an unnerving knack of laying down beside him when he's struggling, and letting him do whatever he wants.
It's weird to see, especially with the reputation cats have of being aloof.
