An Avid Lensman

South Downs Way, Winchester end...

Backdated Blip 48

Train trip (v early) to Winchester and a fair few miles on the first stretches of the South Downs Way, which eventually goes to Eastbourne, signpost saying 98.5 miles from about where I took this, a polariser on the Nikkor 17-35mm f2.8, on full-frame D700.

Lots of pretty villages and landscapes, with allsorts of lenses, but this has always stood out as my type of bold image, made by the criss-cross of vapour trails, scissor-like cutting up the sky.
