First rose of the spring

This standard rose had a flower in January.  But after that, all went quiet for a few months.  This is the first flower of the spring.

After some flute time in the morning, we spent the afternoon in the garden, weeding and generally tidying up.  And then Facetime with the family in Sweden, where Robin is celebrating his 4th birthday.

Now ready for a gin, some dinner, and an evening perhaps watching a ballet or a play.
