Snow on the hills

Much of the snow has gone from town, but there was still a good covering up on the hills of south Shropshire, and a visiting friend (helpfully with a car) provided an extra good reason to get out of town for a walk in the hills, and also the means to get there. In fact when I say a good covering it's a bit of an understatement, since there were plenty of places where it was very easy to suddenly be in a waist-deep snowdrift. We went for a look at the stone circle at Mitchell's Fold and then to the Stiperstones ridge for a good view and lots more floundering about in snow getting slightly lost and generally having an excellent walk of the sort that makes you really appreciative of dry socks and jeans when you get home.
