The top of Crete?
The tracking was saying we were south of Crete, but with a windy grey day it seemed like there would be nothing to see.
About 2, I stuck my head out of the office door and there were snow capped mountains mingling with the clouds, a very long way away. This was the view in the black & white shot in the extras (right>>>) the Lefka Ori containing the peak of Pachnes; contender for the title of highest mountain in Crete. Under the clouds on the right, the island of Gavdos; the southernmost island of Europe.
The actual blip is (I think) the official highest mountain of Crete, Mt Ida , though difficult to tell as the mountain ranges stretch far off in to the haze in both directions.
