Gorilla Glass

Galería Gorila is a small art gallery in our building. The owner is a very creative designer who also employs 30 glass artists that work in his large and airy workshop. We visited there today and watched the artists making beautiful small glass items that can be used as pendants, earrings, (and rings for other body parts), necklaces, and ear plugs. Each item is made totally by hand: being melted and shaped, ground, cleaned, and polished one by one, no matter how small. Thousands of pieces that undergo a strict quality control and are shipped to other parts of the world.
Each year they produce a special design that is only made that year. This is one of them.
