Pretty in Pink

JJ and I had a leisurely morning enjoying the sun and doing a bit of lawn edging.  

This afternoon he route-marched me around the block until I pointed out a large nest at the top of one of the trees in the wood.  We could also hear a bird calling very quietly but not from the nest, which I think may be a Buzzard's.  A bit of investigation to do.

This is just a picture of the Saxifrage plant which is flowering profusely.

I can't believe it's a year since I was in hospital recovering from my cancer operation and not being allowed home due to nausea.  How time flies, even in Lockdown. I am so pleased it was last year and not now.
