A Walk Over Several Days Image 4

The walk down hill is on a bendy road, barely wide enough to let two modern vehicles pass each other. There are a few passing places, but when a modern tractor is coming up hill with a trailer, it is an unwritten rule that the car has to reverse, sometimes up to fifty yards, to allow the machinery to inch by. If you look closely on the offside of the road, there is a yellow plastic box, that is where the salted grit is, for when the road is slippy.
Around a couple of bends is the Old Vicarage. There is a building just to the right of the Vicarage and in the distance, this is in the hamlet of Crosscanonby.
