There’s a Surprise!

This pony is a recent arrival in one of the nearby fields. Apparently her owner didn’t know that her dam was pregnant and got quite a shock when this foal suddenly arrived. So he called her “Surprise “. And now I gather she is expecting her own happy event.
Today’s extra is of the morning sunlight on the fresh new beech leaves down the wood. I could stand and soak in that green colour for ages!
