Little Egret

This Little Egret was behaving in a very strange manner. Normally they creep slowly along in shallow water and sneak up on their prey. This particular bird perched in a small tree scanning a shallow creek and every now and then swooped down and actually caught a small fish whereupon it flew back up onto the perch. I have never witnessed that before.
