Happy Poppy

For Flower Friday this Icelandic Poppy is ready to come out of its pot and go into the soil. I couldn't resist buying it on sale at Walmart. I'll bring it inside the house tonight, however.

Prediction: an inch of snow tonight with freezing temperatures  then smooth sailing into normal spring weather. 
Apparently, the Polar Vortex that has been up in the Canadian  arctic all winter has come down and will break up over us this weekend.  That's what the Weather People claim, so we are going with that story.
Just another unbelievable thing about life in the Time of Corona.
