A good read

The Doll factory, by Elizabeth Macneal. It got 4 out of 5 stars from me.

My review :
From the modern world show in Hyde Park to the dark alleys of London. This book breathes the atmosphere of 19th century London. Artists, poverty, misfits.

A beautifully told tale about the Pre Rafaelites, about the dreams of a young woman to become a painter. At the same time she is living unaware of a threat to her life, which is closing in.

Endearing is Albie with his toothless mouth, scampering through London, ever so faithful to both his sister and Iris.
