As the sky shows , we have had another day of glorious sunshine . To the left of the picture ,out of shot , is a row of cottages . The residents were holding a socially distanced street party , cups of tea in hand, bunting fluttering in the wind and me on the hillside ,overlooking them trying to get a shot and absorb some of the atmosphere. Meanwhile Bramble had spotted something and the way she is licking her lips suggests it’s a tasty something !
None of the party  pics captured the scene so I’ve posted one of Bramble instead . Far away in the distance you can see the flat top of Pendle Hill, famous for The Pendle Witches. We are looking forward to walks up there before too long .
My lazy days of languishing are now on hold as I am back in the driving seat . I took Dave up to the fracture clinic this morning  where he was given a delux sling , a sheet of exercises and the news that the dislocation should right itself within about 6 weeks, a better outcome than we had expected.I’ve baked gluten free biscuits ( thanks J and K for the recipe),made a rhubarb crumble and done all those other domestic duties that we normally share.
Our golden moment of the day was a little video of our granddaughter attempting to eat a piece of banana, her first taste of food ever . It was really funny to watch .  What a moment .
