Busy bee

I heard a great commotion going on inside this pink ( poppy ) tulip and discovered a very noisy bumble bee looking as if it was trying to escape from the petals.

One of the extras shows a very young bird that may have fallen from the nest - hopefully the parent birds were looking after it because the next time I looked it had gone.

In the afternoon I took to my bike and cycled the 1.5 miles to have a look at the golf course although it is unlikely we will be golfing any time soon - the 2nd extra shows the view of the deserted 17th fairway and the distant Lomond Hills.
