The friend who gave me this cactus did not know what it was called but I think it might be a Heliocereus Speciosus or Sun Cactus.  It takes up a lot of space with its many trailing stems covered in tiny spikes and I often think we should get rid of it but at last we are rewarded with two beautiful large flowers.
