VM day

Yesterday was VE Day. A very important anniversary and so many moving tributes.
But today is VM day
Victory over Mouse day.
I had this cunning plan of filling the bucket with Lucy’s dog food and placing it in the cupboard under the stairs in the hope that if there is another mouse in the house, he would be tempted to jump into it to sample the Burns dog food.
And so it was.
This mouse was helping himself to as much food as he could eat, only to find that he couldn’t get out of the bucket because of his increased weight!
After taking his photo, I released him in the shed.
An overwhelming victory.
No doubt he will be back!!
