Mushroom

Gratitude Project Day 124.

Today I am grateful for dogged determination that allows me to complete tasks like yesterday’s submission of all the documentation to achieve official proficiency as a teacher - a little like what this mushroom needs to push its way out of the compacted ground of our road. This is not the first one I have seen - it takes weeks to emerge (I keep track of them on my daily walks) and I always wonder how they manage to survive. But they are a good reminder that it takes grit and determination to just take one day at a time when trying to achieve goals.
