The Morning After

I took two lenses for a change on our walk today, hoping to see the doves again at the lake, or at least some interesting wild flowers. I did get some flowers (see extras) but my favourite shot was this discarded flag. I spotted it just around the corner from where we live, which was the scene of a largish street party yesterday. In a way it sums things up for me :-)
