VE Day

We had a lovely day celebrating today. We took a walk around the village to see everyone’s decorations and then headed home for afternoon tea in the garden. We remembered my grandma and grandad and looked at pictures of them from war. We enjoyed a board game and the children set up a camp in the living room and decided to sleep in there for the night. We all stayed up to watch the queens speech and then the kids were out like a light!
