Today's shot is a first for me...

... the first time I think I have seen a Blackcap, and so, clearly, the first time I have blipped one.

On our walk this morning, we met a couple of people we knew and stopped for a brief chat (keeping a safe distance of course). It was whilst the chatting was going on that this male bird started singing quite loudly perched on an overhead cable. 

Clearly, he wanted to feature on today's blip, allowing me to take a series of shots before getting bored and flying off into a nearby bush..
