Sgwarnog: In the Field

Swarm

I think put one of these in extras recently but these Fairy Longhorn (Adela) moths are everywhere at the moment, and quite a spectacle when you admire a swarm bobbing up and down next to a small sapling (extra).

I headed out onto the moor today, walking over to Sconce Crag to see if there was any dragonfly activity over at the many small ponds over there. There weren't, but I did get a fleeting glimpse of a Broad-bodied Chaser back in the community garden just before reaching home.

I heard the Cuckoo again over at Sconce and admired a Red Kite circling.
