Mothers Day in Australia

I have always loved this sequence of photos. In May 1980 I took my mother, on the left, and my aunt, her older sister, to lunch on Sydney Harbour. They were great mates. They were both gentle, gracious women and not overly comfortable having their photos taken. It took me three photos to get them relaxed.

My aunty died in 1992, aged 84 and Mum died in 2009, aged 96. They were wonderful women.

I have included the extra photo for the lovers of Sydney Harbour.
