Sydney Opera House

We hadn’t walked around the harbour for almost three months, but the lockdown is easing. Circular Quay was almost devoid of pedestrians, there were no cruise ships and the sun shone. Today’s theme is derelict but it’s derelict only in the sense of being deserted.

The Hero of Waterloo hotel, in the extra, is one of many pubs in The Rocks that claims to be Sydney’s oldest. The top sign is almost a ghost sign. Pubs are still closed but selling takeaway draught beer, in jars.

Thanks for hosting Marlieske!
