Baby Blackbird & Pregnant Hedgehog!

Been a busy day in the garden, no gardening done but lots of animal/bird activity.
The baby Blackbird was acting strange, rubbing itself on the grass like a dog might on a carpet. It kept pecking at the grass too so not sure if it was trying to encourage a worm out of the ground or what. Daddy blackbird was close by and came down to feed the chick.

We've had hedgehogs in our garden for years. They, or it, lives in between the fence and the low wall, the gap is filled with debris from the ivy so ideal for hibernating.
I've seen it out at night but never in the daytime before. She was gathering dried grass in her mouth and going back behind the wall so obviously nest building, which is why I presumed it is a 'She' and pregnant.
You can see the grass in her mouth in the left hand picture. Centre picture she's eating some wet dog food from one of Jonty's pouches, and in the right hand photo climbing up to go behind the wall with the dry grass. I had presumed she was off for a sleep readying for tonights' snail and slug hunt but then I noticed her out afterwards collecting more dry grass.
