Perfect peonies

I’m part way through refitting wardrobe doors, furniture etc in my bedroom now, after the decorating epic. So decided these peonies look lovely against the soft green paint. I usually miss the peony flowers as I’m off to Scotland in the van, so there are silver linings to being moored at base. I read that peonies last longer than roses as cut flowers, so we’ll see.
