Breathe deeply

There are moments when life is absolutely full. When your heart is so full of the life around you that you feel like your chest might explode. When you breathe deeply because you know that the air is rich with scent that will not come again. A moment so pregnant with wonder and loveliness that you cling to every one until the very end and your heart races with anticipation of the one that is yet to come. And so was last night. Laughter so real, so rich that it brought tears. Conversation so sweet that it brought life and dancing so alive that this morning our bodies gently reminded us that we are not as young as we used to be.

What a life. Life is such a gift. Friendships that make life better with every passing moment.

After dinner we participated in traditional German Schnapps. They told me it was too dark for me to get this shot. They were wrong.
