Spotted

this heron but so difficult to get a picture, battling with uneven ground and high wind whilst trying to keep still. It was unbelievably cold in the north east blast. The fields were mostly empty, people had more sense, what a complete change to recent weeks of super warmth.

So a few more weeks of lockdown for us older folk, it does make one wonder whether it is worth staying in and not seeing life when we obviously have not many years left, or would we be better going about and enjoying ourselves - I will have to think about this.
