Photographic Poeticisms

Together

Me and my mate
On the branch sitting
All we are a-doing
Is a-coo-ing and a-twittering

I thought for a while
That I had gone and lost her
But she has informed me
That we'll always be a pair

It was truly fate
On that we do agree
That we ever met
My lovely mate and me

She shouts at me
Tells me I'm a silly twit
I should stop worrying
And relax for a bit

Just because she's gone
From my side from time to time
Doesn't really mean
Into the boughs I have to climb

I really don't need
To shout my woes from the roof
As her coming back
Is our friendship's proof

Me and my mate
We're here once again
And she really wishes
I'd stop being such a pain
