Some lovely things

Top right is my old friend Merle Forbes, she is a fantastic singer who has had hit records in the past, she works in a nursing home and I recommended her on Instagram to have a portrait painted as she is a care worker and she was chosen by the fabulous Caroline Pool, The paintings will all be in an exhibition at some point. Search #portraitsfornhsheroes started by the artist Tom Croft.

We have a WhatsApp group on our road and sometime ago I posted a picture of some leftover stuffing and fabric to see if anybody wanted it, a neighbour was getting a new kitten so took the scraps of my hands and made a cosy little cushion for the new kitten with them, she sent me these photos, so cute.

The other picture is of two sets of scrubs, 8 wash bags and 43 ear making face mask extensions made my by my Father’s wife Aselle over the last two weekends! Can’t bring myself to call her my stepmother as she is younger than me, she is a partner in a top London lawfirm and works incredibly hard as you can imagine, she is very good at crafts, she knits and crochets and does Tapestry, I think it’s so kind she has done all this.

Today it was very windy and the temperature dropped, Gulliver and I went for a walk in the cemetery and talked about music and his guitar Playing and what he’s listening to and how he is coping, or going pretty well.

I did a session in the gym with Zebedee and got a new PB when I dead lifted 50 kg, I am definitely feeling the benefits after a couple of weeks regular training.

We had cheese and wine with granny Gill and auntie Jane and Kevin over Facebook, Max made a delicious spaghetti Bolognese and we played poker with the boys.

I actually got some work today which was brilliant, I’m on a new database of session musicians and as I can record my vocals remotely I am still able to do sessions, and established composer for film and television commissioned me to do a job, it’s going really well!
