Cuckoo Male No. 2

I wasn't sure we'd make it as far as the moors today but Little Dog seems to be revelling in the cold weather - if I'd had my winter trousers on, I might have been too!  Luckily, she wasn't dawdling too much although we did slow down here once we heard him calling over the stone wall.

I'd already had a fleeting sight of the one I took a photo of the other day but this one was a treat, perched much closer.

I chatted to a guy who reckoned it snowed briefly at 7am this morning.  It's dropped 20 degrees in just a couple of days!
