yellow and blue

After getting some bread started I went out for a re-try of the running club's vertical challenge and managed to get to 123m, 15 more than Friday with a revised route. Because of where we are it had to include some downhills, I could have managed a few more metres in the time if it had all been up.
It was a chilly, but beautiful, morning and once up the hill I decided to take the long route home, which involved another 60m of up, but was more than compensated by the views.
Partway round I stopped and phoned Mr Rat to tell him what to do with the bread and then carried on along lanes and country roads and finally got home.
On one lane was the view in extras, a contrast from a few weeks back

and then the Sidlaws and a field of rapeseed.
Not done much this afternoon other that computer stuff and Mr Rat is making the tea.
