A Bit Washed Out

A day of starting things and finishing very little.  Think a lot of us are in a 'what's the bloody point?' frame of mind.  I know our Scottish government and those of Northern Ireland and Wales are singing from a different (better) hymn sheet to Westminster, but unfortunately for Scotland and Wales  we cannot easily stop people from travelling and spreading their second wave.  I've already shared this with a few blippers but decided it was worth putting here too.  This stinks of Dominic Cummings planning and manoeuvring.  Just dreadful.  It will extend the period of the virus having a stronghold, and probably also the lockdown, and definitely hurt people and the economy in a cruel cruel way.  This Westminster government has to have one of the worst moral compasses for decades.  Think Trump and Putin are using the same tactics.
