The West Coast

Today has been incredibly windy and has delayed the food supplies ship until this evening. Our son went to collect shopping and found mostly empty shelves and very little fresh vegetables or food. He managed to collect enough for supper :) After we collected some eggs and some shopping he had collected for us, we drove down to the west coast. We wanted to see the towers of stones that have appeared all along the walls since lockdown started.
There are quite large areas of wall with many of these towers but I particularly liked this one. The sea was sparkling behind in the early evening sunshine. We didn't linger long because we had some vegetables roasting in the oven at home.
Today Miss T has been working hard on her school work. We will be very pleased when this comes to an end as she is now keen to get on with independent preparations towards A level studies.
