Diversion

Once again I was the only one up with work that could be postponed until later, so I took Django out. It was beautifully sunny, and I took a diversion deep into the Estate to visit the Hurley Pond. It's surrounded by beech trees, so it was particularly pretty.

The pond itself is now shallow and weedy, and Django got filthy crossing the swampy area at one end. However the Estate intend to restore the tunnel [see extra - spotting dog and ball!] that supplied it with water from the North Esk.
