Bad news from the hospital

I hadn’t been able to get through to mum, nor the ward, but thought she was on the mend. But she’s not. The blood supply to her left foot is compromised, causing terrible pain, and there’s nothing they can do to help. Other foot is going the same way. They are trying to make her comfortable with pain relief, but basically she is developing gangrene whilst in hospital surrounded by all mod cons.
