Ngo Khatsa

Continuing our 'mountaineering' theme, tonight we dined on Ngo Khatsa- a tasty mild chickpea and spinach curry with Lentil Dhal and Basmati Rice.  This is a Tibetan speciality and was prepared by the Tibetan Kitchen - a restaurant in Hebden Bridge.
It was another free meal for 'self-isolators' and arranged by the same organisation that did the meal last Thursday.  It was delivered by a masked and gloved volunteer - which is a rather surreal experience - but again the food was excellent.
Having not left the confines of Maison MD for seven weeks now, we don't know what is happening in other areas (other than via you Blippers - and the Internet)- - but Hebden Bridge is doing a great job.
Tonight we will be lighting a candle for the NHS - but ours will also be for the volunteers that are helping us to get through this worrying time.
