Song thrush

We went for a walk over the common this evening and heard the most beautiful song coming from high up in a pine tree. I zoomed in with my bridge camera and found it was a song thrush (I'm assuming a song one, rather than another type of thrush, but please correct me if I'm wrong).

Polly had a bad night, resulting in Mr DA and I being very tired indeed today, but she had a better day.

In other news, I drew along to Life Drawing Live on BBC4 this evening and was quite pleased with my efforts (although not quite pleased enough to usurp the song thrush!).
