A gusty garden

Yesterday I decided to get out my old Lumix cameras as I knew the TZ30 needed the zoom repairing and also to see if my TZ5 was still working, and as you can see from this photograph, it is.  I think I bought it in about 2004 just before we went to the Scilly Isles.

I braved the post office late morning to send my TZ30 to a company in Ashton under Lyne who repair Panasonics at a very reasonable price.

It also dawned on me that not only hand I left the batteries in both cameras but somewhere in the depths my Panasonic video camera would also still be holding the battery.  Now removed.

This afternoon we've been over to our son's to had over his birthday card and we socially distanced in the garden with his partner.  (If we want to be really politically correct, I socialised with H, whilst J socialised with S).  I also had a very sneaky cuddle with their puppy which was ecstatic to see me and dribbled all over my shoes.

I gather today's WidWed challenge has to be in portrait mode.
