La vida de Annie

Camí de cavalls.

Lockdown day 59.
First time being driven out in the car for two months, and a slight breech of the official guidelines: time-slots no longer apply locally, only in the towns, so no problem there; a trip to the pharmacy in Arenal for masks (permitted, one person only in the shop); two in the car from same household (permitted under phase 1), BUT walking the dogs outside the 1km radius of home - not allowed! As all the police are busy breaking up groups in parks and bar terraces (up to 10 in a group allowed with masks and distancing, but not many are adhering to this of course, just as in the UK where lockdown is and always has been a joke), took a chance to take a short walk along the camí de cavalls there, only seeing one distant dogwalker and no police at all. The resort looks like a ghost town, with overgrown gardens and flaking paint on the buildings. The wildflowers and birds are thriving though, and the sky is wonderfully free of planes.
