Of Bees and Bluets and Hyacinths

Dear Diary,

My bees usually return when the violets are in full bloom and sure enough, they have!  What a welcome sight as was the little patch of Bluets and the Grape Hyacinths both of which are "volunteers".  I planted a small patch of Hyacinths years ago and they now pop up in the most unusual places.  My Bluets pop up here and there on the lawn and are completely wild.  I knew my mower was coming so I went out to photograph a little patch of Bluets by the potting shed.  After he left I noticed that he had mowed around them.  My kind of guy!
